Beamer Wigley has been playing as a solo artist since he was 7. He was signed to Invictus Entertainment at age 11 and since then, has gone on to open for multiple Canadian Country artists, including Aaron Pritchett, twice for George Canyon and three times for Brett Kissel including his most recent appearance with his new band in Penticton on March 16th. He has also released an album and 3 songs to country radio over the past 8 months.
Now working along with his bandmates Jack Friesen on bass and Tom Luk on drums, they had a big opportunity on March 2nd when they opened for legendary Dwight Yoakam to a 1000 music fans at the River Rock Theatre in Richmond. Their 20 minute set morphed into a 65 minute set due to Dwight’s late arrival, and they got a long and resounding applause for their performance. This summer, they will be playing at the Kootney Country Music Festival in Castlegar and the Penticton Peach Fest in support of George Canyon.
